Magazines and Music Video assessment learner response: blog tasks

Create a new blog post called 'Magazines and Music Video assessment learner response' and complete the following tasks:

1) Type up your WWW/EBI feedback in full (you don't need to write the mark and grade if you want to keep this confidential). 
WWW-Rose, good understanding of Blumler & Ktz uses and gratifications theory. Some knowledge of heat magazine demonstrating representation.

EBI-not enough fews to the Q - read the questions carefully and reference csps accordingly.
2) Read the mark scheme for this assessment carefully. Write down the mark you achieved for each question: 

Q1: 1/2
Q2: 3/8
Q3: 3/6

Q4:3/3
Q5: 2/6

3) Look specifically at question 2. Use the indicative content in the mark scheme for question 2 to write three connotations of the design and layout of Tatler.
• Excellent analysis of the product that is detailed and critically engages with the
nuanced aspects of the design and layout.
• Excellent use of the theoretical framework that demonstrates a detailed and
accurate understanding of how design and layout communicate meaning.
• Consistently appropriate and effective use of subject-specific terminology

4) Now look at question 3 - Heat magazine. Use the indicative content in the mark scheme to write three ways celebrities are represented in Heat magazine.
Excellent analysis of the product that is detailed and critically engages with the
representation of celebrities on the magazine cover.
• Consistently appropriate and effective focus on the representations created by the
front cover.
• Consistently appropriate and effective use of subject specific terminology
throughout.

5) Look at question 5 - Arctic Monkeys and audience identity. This is a real AQA past question with lots of potential answers given in the mark scheme. Choose three answers that specifically refer to the Arctic Monkeys CSP and write them here. 
Excellent and accurate knowledge and understanding of the theoretical
framework, demonstrated by consistent and effective explanation of
audience identity.
• Consistently appropriate and effective reference to the CSP.
• Consistently appropriate and effective use of subject-specific
terminology throughout.

Create a new blogpost called 'Mise-en-scene: Stranger Things analysis'.  1) Choose   THREE  aspects of mise-en-scene (e.g. costume, lighting and setting) and write a short paragraph for   each  about the   denotation  and  connotation  and what is communicated to the audience.   Lighting: At the start of the scene you see a man running through a hallway with flickering lights which portrays a eerie affect. There also was a scene at the end of the video where the light bulb kept on flashing which makes the audience feel suspense.
